The Sims 2: Castaway is the third console spin-off of The Sims 2. It is to be released in the US on October 22, 2007 for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Wii.

The Sims 2: Castaway allows sims to live in an unexplored island paradise, performing tasks like building a shelter, learning to find food and trying to make their lives as comfortable as possible, while looking for clues to return to civilization. Rewards are unlocked as objectives are achieved. In the Nintendo DS version, you can use the stylus to do activities like hunting for bugs, fishing, and painting.
