Soul Calibur IV

This is what I like from Soul Calibur producers and developers - they always makes things new just like some guest characters like YODA, DARTH VADER and THE APPRENTICE - characters from the Star Wars universe with their light sabers - New characters and Bonus characters that makes it more interesting to play.

SoulCalibur IV is actually the 5th installment in Namco's Soul series of fighting games. Soulcalibur IV promises to propel the fighting genre into the next-gen era. With visually realistic environments, interactive stages, enhanced AI, and a new battle system, Soulcalibur IV will be at the top of everyone's wish list.
It was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 last July 29, 2008 in North America.

So far, Soul Calibur IV mainly receives positive reviews from video games critics and it got an overall percentage score of 91 on Metacritic for PS3 and a 90 for Xbox 360 from 7 reviews..

My Top 5 items that I usually use when playing Defense of the Ancients (often referred to as DotA) - a custom scenario for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, based on the Aeon of Strife map for Starcraft.

1. Mjollnir

Thor's magical hammer made for him by the dwarfs Brok and Eitri. Gives +35 Agility, +35 Damage and a 20% chance to release a 200 damage Chain Lightning. When a hero with the Static Charge buff is attack, there is a 20% chance that a 200 damage Static Charge will strike the attacking unit. Static charge activates at most once per second.

A hammer forge for the Gods themselves, Maelstorm allows it's user to harness the power of lightning when attacking. Gives +6 Agility, +25 Damage, and a 20% chance to release 150 damage Chain Lightning .

Sange

Sange is unusually accurate weapon. Magically intelligent, it seeks weak points automatically. Gives +16 Strength, +10 Damage and has a 10% chance on hit to maim the target, reducing speed.

Yasha

4. The Butterfly

The Butterfly is a blade that was magically created for use in the war of Magi, but it was never use.Only recently recovered from Avalan vault, it grants it's bearer +30 Agility, +30 Damage, +30% increased attack speed and +30% evasion.

5. Stygian Desolator

A wicked weapon used in torturing political criminals. It hungers for blood. Adds +60 Damage and reduces armor of the enemy you attack by 6.

Final Fantasy XIII now on Xbox 360

What do you think of this guys?? Do you want it to be on Xbox 360?

The producer of Final Fantasy XIII Yoshinori Kitase has some good news for Xbox 360 users, as an effort to "bring as much fun to as many people as possible", the title will be soon available on Xbox. However the company did reveal their current work schedule: First, the company will finish the Japanese PlayStation 3 version, which will then be localized for North America and Europe. Once that's completed, work will begin on the Xbox 360 version.

A specific date hasn't been given yet, but it was predicted that the company will have it ready around summer/fall of 2009.

The best selling game console - Xbox 360 Pro model (20GB hard drive) is now set to cut the price from $349 to $299 ( Microsoft Corp.) this weekend before the video game industry's biggest trade show, E3, taking place next week in LA. A price cut has been widely reported by popular video game blogs and technology Web sites. Many posted snapshots of flyers from various retailers advertising the $299 price.

A cut to $299 makes the Xbox 360 Pro $100 less than Sony Corp's PS 3 with a 40 gigabyte hard drive. Microsoft is locked in a 3-way competition with Wii and the PS 3, which comes with a high-definition Blu-ray video player.
Slashes from Nintendo and Sony seem unlikely at the moment. As it is the $249 Wii is still in short supply at many retailers, and Sony plans to spin its video game business profitable this year, making a cut hard to swallow.

Great!! this is one of my favorite PC game and now Diablo III is coming, I really can't wait to have this one. Here's a short story background from gamedaily. Diablo III will pick up the story 20 years after the events of Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the inhabitants of the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players will acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen. The first two characters classes -- the barbarian and the witch doctor -- were shown as part of the announcement at the event today in Paris.
